It's called image and perception for a company Plazaman. If I saw a company's vehicles like those that were clean and sharp looking I'd be more inclined to use them for paving than another company that had beat up, dirty POS trucks. I know this is a detailing board but could you take some time to proofread your post? Really, it's not that hard to use proper grammar, punctuation and caps. That was so painful to read.

We all read and speak ENGLISH here. In doing so, everyone benefits from using the "rules of the road", so to speak.



A number of members don't even have English as their second language, but they make a good effort to use the language as it is intended.



Your comment above, will do nothing except start (yet another) useless "Flame War". You were offered constructive advice and my recommendation would be to follow it. This forum doesn't need endless raging battles over minutae.

I'm actually going to be pressure washing all of their equipment soon. They have a larger machine used to pave highways, etc. and that would probably take a few days to clean with all of the tar splashed all over.:shocked

I know what you mean. I saw a black one the other day with tinted windows and non-stock chrome rims and almost crashed!:cool: I don't know why they got silver...for a vette?:nixweiss
 
From days of my youth working for a provincial paving branch, the absolute best way to remove cold, stuck on asphalt is with a bug sprayer full of diesel fuel. Just spritz and wait, spritz again and wait s'more and eventually the paint and rusted metal will start to reveal itself.



Do not attempt this method in your driveway or any other "nice" environment because the deisel saturated with asphalt will permanently stain everything in site, UNLESS you can control the "run off".

Thanks for the advice. I remember them saying something about using gasoline to remove tar.
 
I actually really like that white C6. I wouldn't want one that color for myself but it's cool to see something different. And, for the record, the best color on the C6 is Lemans Blue, hands down! Oh, and silver Corvettes aren't so bad themselves, either. ;)
 
Great job on the vette's and the dump trucks, the dump trucks are nicer then the corvette's i can't stand the look of the new vette's i think they look horrible. The c5's make them look really ugly.



Thank god the trucks are CAT powered :up :up



Odd why somone would detail dump trucks though unless thier for pure show

AJ you are a stud!!! One of my regular client's owns a trucking company and has asked me on more than one occasion to clean the fleet...to which I always respond with an emphatic NO !!! I detail his personal vehicles and maybe one or two of the service trucks but NO WAY am I going near those monsters!! :eek:
 
I cleaned and did the interior's on 2 of my uncle's international trucks in his transport fleet and my god what a ***** to do, never again :D
 
They are definitely a back breaker to take care of, but since they are already in pretty good shape every time I come out, it's not really that bad. The biggest headaches when taking care of these trucks is the frame, the rear of the truck, polishing the chrome:rolleyes: , and doing the sides!
 
The ones i did were like exactly the same but orange and black for his company
