Thoughts on this tent?

thanks

I need a tent, as i'm sick of detailing in the sun.

But between hockey, golf, and detailing, the wife has restricted my tent fund. So i'm looking for something economical yet effective.

The one I posted is cheap, and 15x15.... I'm interested in people's opinions on it...

I think the main things would be ease of setup and take down if its anything like pitching some of these tents for camping I've seen theres no way I wanna go down that road!

Does anyone know of a brand that have good height clearence? I've been to Sports Authority, KMart, and Walmart. Just that my SUV won't fit under those the tents due to the retractable arm support under the canopy. The ones at CostCo and Sam's have some nice ones, but they are too large to fit in my driveway.

I plan on getting them and making some stands that can make the height adjustable..probably 5 gallon buckets..not good for carrying around but will work at my house.

I have an EZ-UP Eclipse III, it's the best $230 I ever spent. It has been opened and closed probably over 200 times in the past three years and it's as good as new. Opens and closes easily for one person and it folds down to 48" so it takes up very little room in the trunk. Mine is a 10x10 but I think they also have a 10x20 in that model.

One thing to keep in mind when buying one of these types of tents. If the manufacturer offers a dark color like blue or red in place of white get the color. The white tents make a lot of glare and if you want shade I'd say go for the blue.

I have this 10x10 from Costco which I bought in store for $190. I have used it three days a week for about three months now and it works great. I don't work on many full sized SUVs, FWIW. SB is pretty temperate 10 months out of the year. Although the KD 10x15 would have fit the bill perfectly I just couldn't justify spending close to $700. The Costco guy is pretty damn sturdy. HTH
