Thoughts on McKees product

The new jeweling wax seems like pure marketing to me.
The next few weeks we will be bombarded with glowing reviews on this, and the rest of the new line.

Also, I am very sad to see both the XMT line and the DP line go away.

So yes, I'm a sore loser;)

Look if you're not into carnuba wax, it's a non starter. Simple as that. Obviously you have to take into account the marketing hype. They are going crazy on the sister web site about this product. Fact is the jeweling wax lacks both the correction and longevity of HD speed and Carpro Essense. That leaves "looks" as the determining factor. I say wait until we have people doing side by side comparisons if you're into carnuba.

I am guilty of the hype. I have way to much products /waxes/QD`s/soaps/ that I will never use. I have donated some to beginners along with do not get caught on all the hype you hear...

I'm waiting for the "Jeweling Wax Plus"
I've heard it lasts an additional 2 weeks if topped with the Jewling Wax Spray Booster.

Why such negativity? Look at some of the demos on AG. 360 is an AIO that is said to have 4-6 months durability, the polishes look very nice, and the spray wax has some very good reviews, even before it was improved.

It's a consolidation of two brands, and many of the products have been tweaked, as well as a few new ones introduced. It's really an all inclusive line, which is something I love. I'll be ordering a few products to try.

I didn't know there DP line was going away

I would imagine the paint coating to be very similar to DP Paint Coating. Perhaps the McKee's 37 version is the V2 version like what was done with PBL.

I'm glad they retained some of the DP products that I do like.

Nick commented that the glass coating was tweaked to have a longer working time which is a good thing based on me using DP Glass Coating.

I understand the marketing to push for the line as PBMG is looking for sales as they rightfully should. It's not a game changing line but it's still a good line of products.

The polishes peaked my interest but not enough for me to pull the trigger and take me away from using what I am currently using.

It does make a nice line for someone that is starting to get into it.

I am interested in the fast wax. Perhaps that would make a good spray wax to go along with DP Poli-Coat. Still surprised a poli-coat version didn't make it and instead 360 all in one made the cut.

Well, if the 360 has good durability, like it's supposed to, it will be a real leader. I'm going to try a few products for my daily drivers. The rinseless looks good too.

the 360 claim for 6 months durability has me intrigued also. wonder how good of a cut it has compared to HD speed and such

This is the product im interested in. Hoping some people put it head to head with Speed. 6 months out of an AIO is impressive.

the Hi Intensity APC is also a great product if anyone is interested.

I haven't really looked at it much yet. I've kinda gotten to where I have my cabinet stocked with top notch products that I love to use and am comfortable with, so not much stirs me at this point. I'll keep my eye on what's going for sure, but unless I see something pop up as a gotta have it product, i'll most likely keep pluggin away with what I've got

I was scrolling through the detailing supplies on eBay and came across some great deals on the DP line of products. Prices were almost too good to be true. Any fan of the DP lineup should stock up since ACC and AG are no longer stocking the items. I believe they were being sold by AAAmotoring or something similar. They may be owned by PBMG. Free shipping is being offered, even on gallon sizes, which to me is almost a giveaway.

from what I understand the jewling wax is the new Carnauba Finishing Glaze ,, which I found to be pretty nice but never applied via machine

I used to use it then optiseal (probably not the best combo but it worked well for me and I was still figuring things out a few years ago)
