Thoughts: $150,000 Detail Package ???

I thought the new video where Junkman charged a Toyota Camry owner a $1,000.00 and took a month to complete was way out there till I read this post. I guess I live in the real world and just wash cars and make them shiny for way too little. lol.

He apparently figured out something none of us did, more power to him. Hell, if anything maybe people will start seeing how much the rich spend on details and associate it with us other detailers and people wont be such cheap asses when it comes to getting their vehicles detailed lol.
 
No knocking from me... People have the right to charge what the will and customers have the right to say yes or no
 
That is if he is lucky to do three details a year, PD does exotics and your daily drivers, so he is always busy detailing and raking in the cash$$$ !

Looks and physical shape tells me a lot about a detailers capabilities ...this guy isn't it !

The fact that he continues to charge 150k and is still getting work tells me more than his shape ever could. Im sure his customers do a little more research than just trying to find the most expensive detailer out there lol.



Bottom line is if he charges 150k and people feel good about the job afterwards thats fine in my book.
 
I charged a guy 300k for a detail once, the owner isn't aware of that however. Come to think of it he still owes me $299,950.
 
im not knocking the work but i was looking just before at the pics from his writeup, posted on his FB page. i do not see anything special about this guy at all & i dont believe he is getting 150k for his cars. yes, call me the biggest hater.
 
We were thinking about adding in a premier vacuum service at $350. We purify the exhaust air and bag it. Once bagged, we take it to a air recycling plant. It's a very green service.
