You did an excellent JOB! I think you are one of the FEW that actually does interior work and post pics about it. The type of pics taken i like "sun shots are good". I also like the fact that you did such a good job with only towels & brushes no AC. KICK A$$ bro

Thanks man, I really appreciate that.

tdekany, $225 would be normal for a detail like this. This was for someone who has sent me two details already, I gave him a little break.

Thanks! I guess I am expensive:D

That shine is insane :p

I would try #0000 Steel Wool or some high grit sandpaper on the cladding.

I think I need to pick up some Wheel Acid soon.

Awesome detail!:bow

I know now not to buy NXT Insane Tire shine. Man, those tires are shiny! But if its what the customer wants... why not.

Excellent work on the engine too, it looks brand new:up

I can't believe you got all of that accomplished in 6 hrs. I must be sloooow.

I prefer the terms "methodical and thorough" when explaining the time it takes for me to achieve my results. ;)

ebpcivicsi: fantastic work, I can see why they are referring you over and over. Doing a "make-over" like that (in a nice looking neighborhood) is great advertising. When working on that engine bay did you agitate the APC at all and did you cover any electrical or did you just spray it down. I guess as long as the APC doesn't dwell long and the engine is fired up just after the spray there is no risk as the water evaporates? Well, nice work :up

Thanks, yeah I just use common sense with the pressure washer. I didn't cover anything.....about the APC, I find that as long as you don't allow it to dry then you are fine. I do agitate with an EZ detail and a few other brushes. For the larger areas I use a MF mitt.

Thanks to everyone lese for the kind words.

About the time, I was thinking it was a bit slow. I have a method that I use every time. I clean everything at the same time on each detail. After you do a couple hundred, you become more and more efficient. Also I was doing this detail at home so that really helped. Doing this detail in the field would have easily added another 30 minutes.

Thanks again!!

ebpcivicsi,

If you look at the 3rd and 5th pics, I have the same type of dirt in My cupholders and crvices by the automatic shift. I can't get the little particles out. How'd you do it? Was a brush involved?? What cleaner / method? :nixweiss

Also, you did a phenomenal job with the vaccuming! :up

What vaccum did you use???

That turn around is just Inspirational to me. I'm awed at the change. Awesome.

Please help me out. Thanx. :)

The one brush that I cannot detail without is a red DENTURE BRUSH from your local dollar store. If I don't have it, I will turn around and go home. I will try and post a pic of it later. I also cannot detail without a dusting attachment on the shop vac. I used only these tool + costco APC to remove the "gunk" in the cup holders.

The vac that I used was the rigid 6hp 5 gal model. My smaller (5hp/4gal) rigid would have been used had I beed in the "field." Both are excellent vacs for *my* needs.

Hope this helps and thanks for the compliments!!

ebpcivicsi,

yeah, thanx alot for the help. i'm going out and buying a rigid too then.

Yes, please post a pic of the red denture brush you mentioned.

I would never have thunk of a denture brush in detailing. Awesome man awesome.

:xyxthumbs :xyxthumbs :bow :bow

Awesome work Joe!! It cleaned up beautifully.

Like Sean, I need to pick up some acid wheel cleaner. Was that your special bath tub mixture of 50/50 dilution? :p

What did you dress the interior with?

BTW, what was on the AutoZone sales slip on the floor? Just curious. :o

NXT looks that shiny? Uh oh. I think that's roadkill. I just bought one of those for trying out. Maybe I'll stick with HotShine after I finish it.
