This is why I use Griot’s final results

This after 20 years in business is and has been my favorite car! Aston Martin DB9 in Black rose metallic! I drove the car before the owner, it was delivered from palm Beach motors, the absolute worst hacks in the business! Spent 2 days correcting a new car! I’ve been maintaining it for about 2 years now and no one else touches it. Well it got the front right fender scrapped at the golf course and needed painting. I think I was as upset as he was! So it was due for recoating and body shop clean up so the owner stepped up to Modesta. Cutting done with Griot’s fast cut cream on a microfiber pad, polish done with Griot’s perfecting cream on a yellow perfecting pad, refined with Modesta Primer on a Modesta polishing pad. I was hoping to not have to cut the entire car but thank you body shop wash guy! Coated paint with BC08, wheels with BC08. Glass with Dr Beasley glass coating. Trim on front and rear with Modesta trim coating. Thank you for looking!

Great work Mike. The more I use Griots, the more it impresses me. I’m currently loving the new foaming surface wash. You’re blue pit reminds me of my old boy. Thanks for sharing.

[INSERT usual praise for Mike lambert`s work HERE]

You`ve probably had it with this thread, but I just can`t let it fade off without saying something about how when there`s a black Aston and a Blue Pit in the mix even *your* work deserves more accolades.

Given your generally Griot`s-centric approach, I do find it interesting when Dr. Beasley/Modesta/etc. gets chosen for certain things.

Hey, I do have two Qs:

How hard/soft is that nice, orange-peel-free Aston paint these days and what about the door latches? I always figured the door latches would have to be PPF`ed or something to avoid marring them up, sorta like some `vettes. You know..."how to open the dirty door without marring the point of contact?"

Named him after this car!

OK, gotta ask...what`s the guy`s name?

The dogs name is Aston Martin, the door handles do get marred but the do have rubber insert your supposed to use to push them. As far as paint, this was a custom color, not that bad to deal with, but not a pain soft.
