After reading many many posts, I have come to a conclusion....
On my 2001 Dodge Ram in "Driftwood" I will be ordering Vanilla Moose, then topping it off with S100.
First I will:
1. Wash with Meguiars Soft wash gel
2.Clay with Mothers clay and Meguiars Quick Detail
3.Wash again with Gel
4.Polish with the VM
5.Top off with the S100.

I also will do a test with the following on a small section of the hood.

wash
clay
wash
Paint clean with Meguiars paint cleaner
Polish with Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish
Wax with Meguiars Liquiad Gold

As soon as it warms up I will get it done. Snowed again today

Jon:
Vanilla Moose, I have only heard of.
S100, I have used over both AIO and S100's SEC. If you are looking for a carnauba, I think you will have found it in the S100. Unbelievably easy to use and a great look.:)

Oh I also ordered the Moose wax.... But didnt order the Quick detail  . because I do have a brand new bottle of Meguiars Detailer. So I will aslo do a section that will be just the VM and MW. I will take pictures to compair against the Meguiars stuff and the VM topped with S100.

Here's what I think:

silver methalic is a hard color to make a diference. One can only increase it's shine, not it's depth or reflectiveness.

What I did in a car of that color was exactly try to give it the best shine I know. I've used Einzsett polishers and Glanz Wax, it wax a killer on that color.

I bet VMW or MW and S100 are killers on dark colors, I think they will not be made justice on such a color.

Here's a pic:

Paint clean with Meguiars paint cleaner
Polish with Meguiars Deep Crystal Polish
Wax with Meguiars Liquiad Gold

I wouldn't even bother with the comparison, these aren't bad products but not pro. Probably going to have much better results with the other combo.

I have not had good results with metallics and AIO, but UPP has looked excellent on one silver metallic I worked on.
