Not my car (I wish!), but I came across it on another board, and thought that the paint on it looked amazing. This is why I own a black vehicle. It is so rewarding to look at when it is properly detailed.

Stay tuned, this spring my truck is getting black wheels also.

That looks like a custom 997 Porsche. Sweet!

Did not take long for the aftermarket to catch on uh?

lol.. apparently not... the quicker the better in my opinion. :D

Is it the lights that make that paint look so wet? I swear, all cars at the shows look amazing. Must be using many layers of a glaze or something.

It's called a quality paint job for starters :)

Yeah, there isn't many of those around these days! Every new car I look at has horrible orange peel. I can spot it on my truck from 5 feet away, while others can't notice it all.

Auto manufactures are going for maximum efficiency, not quality. 95% of people buying a $hitty paint job think it looks flawless. The last 5% of US suffer the auto makers cutting corners.

PS: The silver has the perfect stand (imho) but doesn't belong in the states. That car should be driven like that in Germany/Austria where the roads are perfect.

I detailed a 966 in Sept. I have drived the GT and the 966 is a drivers car. Meaning, comfortable to drive to work every day.

Wow! I think the 997's styling cues are really a step above the 996. It looks so much better.

I agree, the 996's were still sweet though, just something not right about sharing headlights with a boxster though and thats where the 997 comes in :)
