Thinking of switching to PBs

I have a new car on order, below is a picture of someone else's car but it is the same color and model - Red Metallic. Toyota calls it Salsa Red Pearl.

I used to use Zaino on my Titanium Gray Miata but now am thinking of switching to PB for this new car.

I like the glossy wet look on my cars.

I would appreciate the PB veterans here to recommend the line of PB products to use and a routine.

I do not have a PC, let me know if it would make a difference with the PB products to apply by hand or PC.

Hey NY, I'll be the first to tackle this for you. First off, I have used the "Z" in the past, and since, have moved on to something better.

If you are looking for that ultimate wet look, here is what I would recommend. By the way, a PC will make a difference on a non-maintained car, but seeing as yours will be new, hand application is the way to go:

1) SSR1--Sort of like a glaze, but doesn't leave any oils (slightly less wet than Meg's Show car glaze, but removes much, much easier)

2) EX, not EX-P. EX has carnuba into it, and being a sealant as well, you will get great protection out of it. I would suggest 2 coats of this 24 hrs. apart.

3) Natty's will mimic the layer under it, but for that ultimate wet look I would suggest Top of the Line's Trade Secret. This stuff is amazing, and has about 10% more wetness than P21S/S100. This does increase with every layer added, somewhat like Zaino, but 5-6 is more than enough!

As for the tires, I enjoy Bold n' Bright because I know it will work the same way everytime I use it. Being water-based, I know it's not going to be greasy or damage the tires. Natural Look is a great interior protectant, and can be used on leather as well.

Poorboys is a grea line up and NICK gave you some great advice. If you are a fan of the wet look Wolfgang polish and sealant topped with carnuba is a great combo.

If all else fails drive north of SF to Sonoma County and let me do it for you!:lmfao

I tried a few different sealents on my 04 bright red Ford truck...Wolfgang...SG...Megs.and then Poorboys products..I found that Poorboys gave me the look I was looking for...WET and Slick..I used Pro Polish...SSR1 and EX-P...just have one coat for now due to rain day after day so far..but plan to due 1 more coat of EX-P and then Natty's...but so far the look is WET..and smooth as glass..best part is that it is like anti - static...the pollen just blows off..with the others it would stick..

If you decide on Poorboys..DO NOT FORGET to get his Spray and Wipe...this stuff is amazing..its like the American Express commercial saying.."Don't leave home without it"....all in all Poorboys for the price is easiest and best looking for me...It is very user friendly...Goog Luck on your decision..
