I tried 5 differant waxes on my wife's 03 dark red Benz;Pinnacle Souveran,NXT,Eagle 1 Nanowax,MEG.Tech26 yellowGliptone carnuba.No noticeable differance at all.

Actually with proper prep there "is" little appearance differences between many LSP products. Yes, there are subtle differences that "only" Autopian's can denote.

If he is implying functional similiarities, well further study is definitively required.

Don't stress it. The similarities between these products are so great that it isn't worth straining your eyes for something that's too often psychological. To me, this sort of nitpicking is overvalued and overrated, because of pictures and formulas that dictate people to use "this" in order to make your car look like "that." There are more important aspects of a product to be concerned about.

This kind of review is exactly what Autopia has been missing for all these years. It is clear that a lot of use of the scientific method was applied here. The amount of information like color, time, weather, etc is clearly evident in the two line evaluation of half a dozen products is just staggering. I for one will be immediately throwing out all of my Souveran, NXT, Eagle 1 Nanowax and MEG.Tech26 yellow Gliptone carnuba and only purchasing the cheapest one since they are all the same anyway.

I wish I had seen this BEFORE I got the Souveran!! Maybe I can get my money back and get some Nu Finish!?

I have the following for trade:

S100, Natty's, #16, Souveran(liquid and paste), Paste Glaz

Will trade for Nu Finish, any amount!!

Yeah, right!!!

What type of preparation did you use before waxing? Its usually said here that 80-85% of the total shine comes from the preparation steps (wash, clay & polishes). Waxing is only the final step and contributes about 20%. Hope that helps.

Your review lacks depth and substance. Try again and let us know why they are all the same. Not a flame.

What I don't get is that in This Thread you say that you liked the nano wax better than NXT. Now you say they are all the same.

I just purchased a bottle of Eagle One NanoWax and used it on my car at 3am (couldn't wait to try it).I had previously used NXT on it but the NanoWax did a better job. It's a little hard comin off,but I think I was putting too much on the applicator. My car is a wt.diam.CTS and it has a really rich deep gloss;imagine the results on a dark colored car

The car I was commenting on in the post your'e referring to Jngrbrdman, was my own wt.diam CTS.The car I tried the 5 other products on was dark red so I would expect to see any subtle difference in depth, clarity and gloss more readily.I'm 60 yrs. old and I've been waxing, polishing, and detailing since my 1st car at 17.One thing I've learned is if it's work keeping your ride nice looking FORGET it.To me it's just plain fun and enjoyment and I really love trying out new products as they are released.
