There is NOTHING like working on new paint

The new Sube. Because of the late afternoon sun and the satin white paint, it's hard to get a picture with "pop", but it's there. I like that satin white. This is NXT paste.

Congratulations on your new car Tom! Both it and the Miata are looking good.

Did the Sube come with the trunk monkey option?

 All that snow! Seriously, I'd move. :p

Good looking car, Tom! I bet you can hardly wait for dry roads so you can put your foot into it. The Miata really looks terrific!

How did you like using the NXT paste? I still haven't even seen it on the shelves anywhere here yet.

Looks nice there Tom, I love that pearl white color. Too bad that Tom Clark over at 16 is calling for half of a foot Monday and sleet on Tuesday. Oh well, I'll still be at it tomorrow.

It was a little too cold, about 50* in the garage, Scott, and it didn't want to spread real well. It was hard to get a thin coat. Nevertheless, it came off very easily, even where it was a bit caked.

MS22, I asked the kids not to wax it, so I had to do it before the storm. :(

Mosca- It's nice to hear that you're really enjoying all the perks of having a new car. That's one *very* classy looking Subaru :xyxthumbs

And the pic of your Miata reminds me how frustrating it is that I don't fit in them :p

That's a Legacy, right? Nice cars...I actually looked at them briefly while car shopping but it was the previous design.

Congratulations. New cars are always fun!

Tom - those new Subarus are nice. Enjoy !

BTW.........Don't don't feel bad about the snow, i have 3 times that amount up here ! My car is a mess ! :( LOL

Bah, move to winnipeg if you want to see snow :p

Mosca, that Scubby Legacy it's this a GT turbo? I'm thinking getting one by end of this year. There's a guy here or at DC has a blue GT turbo. Damn 250 at the crank aint bad at all.

They're showing up at the Walmarts here. I don't think you'll have to wait too much longer for it to show up.:xyxthumbs

Is there really a point to NOT GETTING THE TURBO?! I certainly don't see it.:D

LOL, not a turbo. I wanted a turbo, but decided against it. The points are

1) $60/mo difference in payments, and

2) tied to premium gas, along with

3) 13 year old daughter, saving for both college and retirement at the same time as well as all the other stuff that constantly sucks at my wallet like medical insurance copays, mortgage payments, etc etc., and anyhow

4) The Miata is already forced induction if I want thrills (165 at the wheels in a 2300 lb car), and it handles MUCH better.

Believe me, it wasn't an easy choice; but in the end, the power to cost ratio wasn't advantageous enough, when I already have a car that I can stick my right foot into any time I want.

Tom

You didn't mention the daughter! Good thing you didn't get the turbo. She'll be wanting a car in three years and there's no need to be giving her a car with more power. I've read somewhere that teenagers will do stupid things when they're behind the wheel and giving them a fast car will just allow them to do those stupid things faster:p

BTW, Mosca, I read your review of New GC over at the Meguiar's Forum some time ago. How did that work out? Did it hold up? Just curious.
