The worst detailing advise on youtube

But, I love the technique of cracking the side of the bottle as a new form of dispensing the product to the applicator and onto the car.
 
I saw this before . There are other clips of this type the ::wall

They need a training,

They learn you How to destroy your car ?! :hairpull
 
"it's gonna look brand new when we are done."



It is sad when the paint looks duller after you wax it, and you can notice this in a youtube quality video.

They should name it ExpertIdiotVillage !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Exactly how the wrong information is spread through the net.
 
I was curious, very curious...what I saw at first was bad, unbelievably bad...but it left me wondering if that was his worst or were some of the others "more badder"?



I toughed it out in the name of research and I had a hard time believing my eyes and ears...ShamWow!!!



Tire foam on the dash?



Everything seems to get applied, buffed, wiped and whatevered with the same dirty, ratty anyrag...



His spray bottle of "All Purpose" truly IS all purpose, from dirty tires and wheels (with "special amino acids") to cleaning the dirty trunk (with "special amino acids").



I think that maybe, just maybe... I was most impressed with "How to Clean Car Windows" using "Auto Glass Cleaner" with (you guessed it!!) "special amino acids"!!!

Can someone please sign up to this expert village place and post up some real detailing videos before some poor people follow this advice and ruin their paint. This stuff is crazy! :hairpull
 
Atleast Jose acts like he cares. The other guy is actually terrible. I couldn't believe my eyes as he sprayed tire foam all over the interior, he didn't even wipe it all off. There must be overspray on everything (and that stuff is petroleum based). You wouldn't want to take a girl out in a car he detailed. She'd have so much grease on her clothes, she'd choose the guy with the bicycle.

Burning oil might come through the AC vents people. Make you sure you guys put lots of the greezer on it to prevent this. :bolt
 
It's crazy the things you can find on Youtube!! I've enjoyed the clips from Dean's DVD on youtube though. Not ONLY because of the hot chicks, but it has HOT CHICKS in it too. Did I mention hot chicks? :D Nah, but Dean knows his stuff.
 
ok I'll admit it, back when I was young and dumb, I plea guilty to doing those things above to my old F150 and thought I was doing good for my truck. Dish soap on everything and sometimes I even used hair shampoo, yes hair shampoo to wash my truck when I felt like experimenting. Tire foam on the dash and kit car wax most of the time.
