Max Have you fiqured out what size pads to get .I to am looking for a pc curious on what size pads and let us know if the coupon works

well i just read on the guid to using the PC that a 5" backing plate with 6" pads to be the most efficient...i think i'll go with that. but i haven't figure out which pads to buy yet tho. and i'll be going to lowes this weeknd, i'll report back if successful with the coupon. even w/o the coupon its still cheaper than the online stores.

since exceldetail.com doesn't have their pad kit instock, i'll buy from autopia-carcare. now should i buy the SFX or DAS pads?? whats the difference?

i also plan on buying the "foam pad conditioning brush", and "DP polishing pad rejuvinator". any comments on these two?

thanks you all so much for answering my noob questions.

New guy here -

I went to Lowes today with the Home Depot coupon and was able to receive 20% off the PC.

The coupon brought the price to $87.20 plus tax.

:spot

PS - I'm hiding it in the garage. :D

they didn't harrass you about the "void if copied" part? sweet!

also, i just read this about the DAS pads

"Sonus DAS Pads outlast ordinary foam pads, and are warranted for up to 10 uses when properly maintained." Do foam pads generally only last 10 uses? how do you know when to replace them?

I "trimmed" off the right-hand side of the coupon once printed.

Just check lowes on line 99.00 for the porta cable 7336sc.now i would have to buy the 5in counterweight and then buy 6inch pads does that sound right. The bonus would be if they would take the coupon

Ok, I just got done buying the sonus SFX pad kit from autopia-carcare and menerzena IP. I previouslybought the zaino ultimate or whatever kit (their more expensive one) plus ZPC and Z8. I plan on buying that yellow foam pad brush and the DP foam pad rejuvinator later today...what else do i need in my first venture into machine polishing?

I just went and bought me a PC 7336 from Lowes as well. I used the posted coupon, cut off the terms and conditions side and got the discount. Total was $92.96 after taxes, thanks again!

well i tried to use the coupon, the clerk called his manager bc he was unsure of Home Depot coupons. the manager looked at it for 2 seconds and said NO, its been printed off of a computer. yeah now im a little

went to lowes earlier and got the coupon accepted. i bought a bunch of other stuff while i'm at it to save the 20%.

is the included white pad any good? i read its only good on glass...is that true?

thanks all

I bought the PC 7336 at Lowes today for $109.00. I tried to use the coupon, but was rejected. Now I need to go hunting for polishes and pads. Yikes $$$

I used it 4/29 and got my PC for $87 + tax and some simple green for $5 instead of $8 :)

Shelbrain the coupon ended 4/30 :/ sorry

wow...you're like...from the future or something...

Yeah they'll invent time travel on April 27. It's gonna be pretty uneventful because they'll find out (or found out?) that traveling to the age of the dinosaurs did (does?) nothing because of something or other with something already having done something. It's complicated and boring. Just remember what I said about the coupon though cause it'll be helpful.
