lol, the "man who had escaped the cruelty of a dictator" was an illegal alien in the country to which he fled. surely you see the irony in praising that but condemning the other illegal immigrants who likely left for similar reasons(material deprivation, corrupt governments, etc.)

the illegal aliens that were brought to the state of the union address, regardless of how stupid I think that ploy was, could fit all of your positive descriptions too. so no, it doesn`t sum it up at all. trying to just quickly gloss over all those things is incredibly short sighted; each and every one of those situations deserves to be examined instead of boiled down to a talking point for whatever political party you identify with.

I ws going to read it, till I saw it was from Mc cain. He hates trump more than I hate Pelosi, schumer, Hillary and Obama combined.

That may be...but I think he hates Putin, too. But I would think that McCain would have to hate the country, too, to say something like that if he didn`t believe it was true. Do you think John McCain hates this country? If I`m not mistaken the slogan from his 2008 campaign was, "Country First". Are you suggesting that was a sham, and he now puts his hate of Trump, if indeed he has that, above the love of his country?

No it wasn`t a sham. But his hatred for Trump overcame all else it seems.

He will jump on more stuff about trump than Maxine waters.
 
Can’t blame McCain for disliking Trump. It goes without saying,Trump took a totally inappropriate shot at McCain during his campaign. It would be nice to think that people can rise above things like this and put the country first but human nature is what it is.

Exactly. Everyone knows McCain`s priorities are in the following order...

1. hatred of president
2. settling personal vendettas
3. showing off purple heart to pick up women and get free drinks
4. love of country
 
Imagine if Nancy Pelosi stood for the AMERICAN people for 8 hours....yeah can’t picture that either. Sad.
