The Unofficial *Official* Politics Thread

The Comey firing was not a surprise. The FBI had lost credibility, he had to go. I hate to see who his replacement will be though. Sessions had input on Comey`s firing and I`m sure he will have input on his successor. Sessions scares me more than Trump.
 
I`m not used to seeing the FBI so present in the news. I`ve never even known who the FBI director was. Seems the FBI`s identity and purpose is to operate with almost anonymously behind the scenes, and that has changed dramatically of late.

But its it`s funny how the Dems didn`t like Comey because he drew attention to Hillary in a negative way but they`re up in arms about Trump firing him. Which way do they want it?
 
Showboats do not like other Showboats. The story of the firing of Comey has changed more times than the Benghazi episode.
 
The denial is strong with Trump supporters. It seems the assistant attorney general does not agree with Trump on Comey`s abilities or the climate under him. Had Hillary fired him, some here would be in an uproar.
 
Too many people trying to defend the indefensible all the time. Liars never get their stories straight and it always takes another lie to explain a lie, which begets another lie. All you need to do is tell the truth once. Trump is like my 16 year old son, he can`t put down his phone long enough to actually accomplish anything.
