Hey everyone, I wanted to do a write up of my new trailer and all of the different stages that its going to go through.

It's a 2010 Homsteader Patriot 6x12 black with Diamond plate and Chrome wheels.

I started off getting a 2002 Chevy Astro Van for my business so that I could go mobile.

IMG_3257-1.jpg

So that did the job for a little while but I wanted more! And the Van didn't run 100% all the time. and now that business is going great and now people are starting to request me out of state, I didn't want to break down 300 miles away from home. So I sold the good ol' van and bought this!

And I got the chrome wheels too!

So today so far I have applied the Hurculiner bedliner stuff to the back side of the door (the Ramp) for a nice non-slip surface (I love that stuff)

Next I am going to Paint the wall white on the inside.

*NEW UPDATES 4/12/10*

I painted the inside!

Tadaaaaa! I painted it White to help with some of the heat! and it brightned it up a lot too!

I decided to just go with a vinyl role of the floor instead of 12x12 tiles.

Here is the floor before and the little Motorcycle tie downs.

DSC_0032.jpg

I removed all the the tie downs

DSC_0034.jpg

and swept all of the debri out the door

DSC_0035.jpg

Cut my measurements and done a test fit

DSC_0037.jpg

I had to splice the front in because the roll one came in 12ft wide pieces.

So I cut out the holes for the tie downs

What you going to pull it with?

2006 Black Honda Ridgeline RTS ( My wife has been bugging me about getting her a Big Truck or SUV so we came across the Ridgeline for a CRAZY deal!!!! $11,500:heelclick for an 06 RTS w/ 100k on it. NADA value was $17,500 :wow:, the only bad thing about it is a few cosmetic issues around the bed sides. mechanically its GREAT but It has a FEW DEEP scratches. and the INSIDE was NASTY!!!!!!!

But hey, that's what I do for living! so my wife and I worked wanders with the Bissel little Green machine and it came out great! I'll post pics of the truck later.

I am painting the inside of the trailer right now.

here is a sneek peek! God has blessed me SO MUCH this past year!!! So Glory be to GOD!

Lookin' good! I built mine three years ago and haven't looked back; I LOVE MY TRAILER. Here is a thread showing the build up of my own: New Detail Trailer - Auto Detailing Network Forums

I actually just removed everything that was bolted to the floor, put down one solid sheet of black and white checkered vinyl, and remounted everything again. I also moved the water tank all the way along the left wall leaving a walking space in the middle and purchased a much larger air compressor that is mounted in front of the generator; I will try and post some pictures here later this week to give you an idea. I am going to be installing some diamond plate base molding along the floor, and diamond plate around the insides of all the doors.

Check out PitPosse.com for some really nice shelving for organization. Have fun putting it all together; it's a lot of work but it does pay off after.

Just kidding...really happy to see everything is turning out well for you...especially in light of some recent tragic events.

Man! That trailer is awesome! I cant wait to get out of the Air Force and start my business up, I've got some plans Ive been wanting to do and this is one of them. One day you should bring it to Elizebethon I would love to see this in person plus you'll get a crazy amount of business if you have your companys logo on the side offering detailing services!
