To think you ppl are getting all upset over a simple question...I simple just asking if ppl have used this product and what they think...there has never once been any mention of selling. Just a guy using the product and finding out what others think...isn't that what this site is all about.



And if you are talking about advertising how about your whole front page with advertisments all over it.

So it’s just a coincidence that your board name is the same name as the product line you are asking about and your home page listed in your profile is also the web page for the product you are asking about?



I’m sure you can see it’s very easy to see why everyone perceives you, as a “sales rep� for the company isn’t it?

You need to understand it wasent a personal attack on you by the mods their just doing their job. Ive seen plenty of real spammers on here that have said the same things you have "Hey has anyone ever tried this product?" And it turns into them trying to sell their product! The vendors on this forum pay / contribute to autopia in order to advertise here. There is no such thing as free advertisement by vendors on autopia. If it wasent your intention to sell the product than dont worry about it. But your name and your first few posts sent up a red flag to the mods.

Treatment man- A belated "Welcome to Autopia"!



Sorry you feel you didn't get too warm a welcome, but as the others are saying, we've had a few not-so-innocent folks show up who are right on *or over* the edge of "ever try this"/"you gotta use this" when they had a financial stake in the issue.



There are some pretty tight constraints for vendors here, BTW, so don't let the ads on the Home page influence your thinking too much.



And yeah, I checked out the original thread because I used stuff in a tube called "The Treatment" back in the day (mid-late '70s). Didn't knock my socks off, but I still took an interest in its being mentioned, didn't know it was still around.
