The treatment was first around a long time ago. I used it back in the 70's and 80's and it did a pretty good job for my experience then. I know it was purchased by another company and I haven't seen it around for awhile though. The stuff I used came in a large tube like a toothpaste container and came out like a paste.

If the tube was black with white writing and a large top .. I had some .. prolly my most expensive big dissapointment .. I paid something like $25 for it expecting miracles on black .. I gave it to a neighbor.

The original company was called "Slax Super X" , it was made in the mid 60s by a man named Thomson in Dolton Illinois . Mr Thomson died and his wife sold the formular, and the new company expanded from there offering full line detailing supplies. The wax was a carnuba, silicone, and resin based jelly wax, that would hide buffer swirl marks ,and would last a long time .
