The stress Created by your car going in for service

I got lucky with my dealer. In my file the service manager made 3 or 4 "Do Not Wash" notations. Each time I've been in for service I tell them not to wash and am always told "Sure, I see that here". It's also printed out on the work order. It's nice to have a dealer that pays attention to the customer.
Most of the times I've gone in they said how clean and nice my truck looked so why even bother washing it.

I keep getting recall notices for the Vette. There is no way it's going back to a Chevy dealership.

I don't blame you for that...when I took the Mallet in to a dealership (and I even knew the owner) they sat a partial can of motor oil on the passenger seat, and yep...leaked oil down into the perforations. The owner made it right, but still...

And the Chevy dealership I (reluctantly) do business with these days hardly ever gets anything right on the Tahoe the first time. The Manager is obviously embarassed by how bad his techs are, and he assigns his best guy for my work.

I can't fathom why oil would even be in the car. That's terrible.

Yeah, and the reactions of the tech and Service Manager were along the lines of "well, you can clean that up...thought you'd want the partial can of oil but you don't seem very appreciative.." They also scraped up the front airdam putting it on the lift even though I'd told them the car was lowered and had explained how to get it up on their lift. Good thing I knew the owner...
