First of all, I wanna thank everyone here with all the tips and wonderful helps in detailing to help me get my car to shine. Even tho it's still not in pefection, but I'll work my way up and get it perfect. However, I do like the current result so far compared to couple days ago before detailing..

Again, thanks everyone..this place rock!

Mazda Protege5.

Also, I've noticed what my friend told me that Mazda has weak paint. After I'm done with the car, I can tel the paint is kinda blurry, like it's been smuged(sp?). Whereas other car is nice and sharp.

Jliao,

Thousand oaks..cool.. I'm in LA. We should definitely do some serious detailing sometime! I just got the new Zaino products. What do you use on your car?

Peace

I use all Meguiar's. I first used the #9, but it didn't turn out too well, so I went up a notch using DACP and worked great. After that, I used the Meguiar Yellow Wax (#26?).

I first wash my car with Meguiar Gold Glass car wash and the sheepskin washmitt, after that I move my car into the garage w/o drying it. Second, the car is to be clay with Clay Magic and the lube that came with it (I finally realize how dirty my car paint is after claying). Third, wash the car again and dry it with Water Sprite Plus. Fourth, move the car back into garage and start using DACP by hand, I apply it several times with same steps you do on PC -- overlapping until DACP kinda disappears. (I did this more than 1 times with 10 lb of pressure on the terry cloth pad). Lastly, Meguiar #26 Hi-Tech paste wax.

Also, I own a PC 7336SP, but I didn't feel safe working on an uneven surface, so I end of doing DACP by hand. Maybe I'll use my mom's van as a white mouse in the future. :P

Lastly, I've learned all these from this forum. Before I came in here I was a complete newb in detailing cars, and now I'm glad I can get my car to shine like a new car. :) Thanks all...and your compliments, I will be sure to keep up the good work.
