The "Really ?!?!?!?!" Thread

Had a customer call in to the shop looking for a quote for her driver`s outer rearview mirror glass. She came out from Costco and it was just gone. Connectors intact and everything.

Didn`t make any sense until we found out a heated+dimming mirror glass was $460.

Somebody stole it. People are jerks.
 
oneheadlite- Huh, guess the thief knew what they were doing since the connections were intact. Hopefully all the retaining stuff was OK too.
 
Has anyone else had communication issues when trying to place an order via the forum? I wanted to place an order almost three weeks ago during the sale using some points, but the system wouldn`t allow it. So I contacted Paul that day and never heard any more about my order. Seems like since PBMG got bought out this forum has lost what little priority it had from the company. Sad to see, but I suppose there are plenty of other places to get what I need.
 
Cavs coach said ... I hear what the sources say but I look at the roster and I do not see anyone named Sources...

Dunno if true or not

Anyone else notice that the #NFL teams that took a knee during the season, never made the playoffs ! And the four proud American teams that stood with honor during the #NationalAnthem are front row center now
 
Today on price is right this guy had his shirt inside out. I kept trying to make out what was on it...it was a drawing of a nose and it said Pick Me above it...really? They had to have told him to turn it inside out.

Side note: he won the showcase showdown

Prepping a demon for xpel ultimate or whatever...are you kidding me? No correction afterwards?! He rubbed the lettering off with his fingers and nails after spraying something on it.

They were scrubbing so vigorously with the cheapest looking towels too

I`ll have to be honest. I saw this guy pull up next to me as I was exiting from lunch and I just had to ask him...of all the spots, just HAD to park next to the nicest car in the mall, didn`t you?

Then I walked my car to make sure he didn`t ding it. I did find a new ding but not from him..from someone parking next to me at the funeral I attended this morning I`m sure.

When my car was but a few weeks old and I was inside a McDonald`s for an early breakfast, I had a guy in a work truck park next to me in an otherwise empty shopping center parking lot, with his truck facing the wrong way so that our driver`s doors faced each other.

When I got back to my car I had a ding in the door, and the truck had already left, so I didn`t get a license plate. I`m convinced the guy dented my car out of spite and on purpose. Some people suck.

This happens to me a couple of times a month. It just blows me away, there is no place to hide.
