The "Really ?!?!?!?!" Thread

Maybe we need "reprisals"....

A city is looted....

...."Hear ye... Hear ye....

All State and Federal entitlements are being withheld and applied to our city`s damage until the damage is paid for"....

Marshal Law is enacted.

The military is brought in.

The checks stop rolling.

There needs to be strict consequences for this type of nonsense...Otherwise, I see more of it in our future.

If we can id a terrorist in 12 hours, we can id those who did the damage

Maybe.

But they can`t pay for the damage....

if it was frowned on by their community - maybe they would stay in line.....

Pledge to cut off the checks - and you will stop this nonsense

As I alluded to previously, I don`t think workers and homeowners have any time for this type of behavior

Re: The "Really ?!?!?!?!" Thread

True. But like any tool, you have to use it properly.

Anyone wondering why...hmmm... None of the looters or rioters weren`t at work? Wasn`t this uprising in the middle of the week?

Maybe if these people had to work to eat - they wouldn`t have time for such nonsense.

Dunno.... if I`m going to participate in a riot, it`s gonna have to be on a Sunday...

Maybe I can join you there, But my schedule is awful full. Work 65-75 hours a week monday through Saturday 51 weeks a year (Aruba for the one week I take off), Maybe I can do it on one those 3 day weekends I hear about that could be a while last time I actually had one was freshmen year in High School I`m lucky to get a few Saturdays off a year. I could do a Sunday but most those are either doing Fishing tourney`s or detailing my cars or house work (all of which I would rather do then be involved in that farce). Maybe when I retire at around 70 I can make it to one those with you. Man being a good upstanding tax paying citizen really takes up all my time.

Sigh....more proof that potent cars in the hands of incompetent drivers are disasters waiting to happen. Bet my bottom dollar that [individual] was looking at the pole. [sarcasm]But hey, every redblooded American who`s seen [certain movies] just *knows* he can drive really well. [/sarcasm]

Sadly, that wasn`t even a real potent Mustang (that is to say it didn`t have a V8). I`m sure the little ones can get sideways too. That said, at least they build poles like they used to. ;)

Side note: I have been reading a few articles where they`re getting the 2.3 EcoBoosts putting down over 400 HP to the ground and they are proving to be reliable.

Heh heh, "real potent" by *today`s* standards, huh?!? Yeah, even the "slow ones" will utterly outperform some of the Performance Cars from yesterday. [Shoot], lots of today`s most boring econocars will smoke some of the Great Muscle Cars with no problem at all.

AND...to me the biggie is that today`s cars generally *HANDLE*...like, handle great. And have very good brakes. Getting a car like that so out-of-control on a public street...simply mind-boggling to me (though sure, I lost it plenty of times on the track when first getting squared away!).
