The "Really ?!?!?!?!" Thread

ca.detailchick- I really try to *not* spend any time on cutesy internet videos, but those two *were* good.

Mislabeled the ape though, not a gorilla.

Ronkh- Perhaps the "kill count" on that car will reward that [individual] with extra attention from LE. Bet he`d be *shocked* if some other [individual] decided to key his car, here`s hoping his life is populated by people just like him.

It seem that countries with more social policies is not necessariy unfriendly to business.

Wow. That Bud Abraham guy that wrote that article has a low opinion of detailers. He needs to show up to Detailfest with that attitude. Pretty disgusting.

It looks like best attribute of a potential production detailer is have a brain or anything about about quality.

While I (of course ;) ) find that utterly despicable....isn`t it a States` Rights Issue? I thought the Federalist idea was that if you don`t like that then you move to a state that doesn`t do it.

No, no...I`m not saying that makes it OK and I`d be FURIOUS if I lived there. I`m just thinking out loud as this is different from many of the other issues that get discussed in the States` Rights context as it`s not actually a matter of infringing one somebody`s Personal Rights. (Yeah, of course I see how it could/would be used for that..again I`m just discussing it.)

Personal rights ????

Did I overdo the shorthand? I was separating it from the current "Bathroom Issue" which I see as a means of discriminating and thus violating a Person`s Rights.

And I was thinking of the "Personal" vs. "Collective" Rights. (Perhaps I need corrected?!?)

What I meant specifically was that it`s not an infringement of the Right to Bear Arms (which the SCOTUS at least *currently* views as an Individual Right). It`s (supposedly..yeah, right) "just" a database... that could be misused to do that. Like auto/etc. registration. Nobody gets too worried about Big Brother knowing what cars we drive (on public roads)...in a sense there`s a database listing Corvette owners! OK, that`s maybe a stretch..or maybe I`m utterly off-base here :o
