Why did the coal company declare bankruptcy ?!?!?!?!? (hint, it sounds like Obama) so while it may be the techinal truth, there may be a reason.

Face it Al, companies would rather make money than declare bankruptcy and close.........

Ron Obama didn't directly shut coal down, he allowed the EPA to do it.

I toured a coal mine in 2013 and there are two groups working. One is the actual coal workers and the other are the ones under the EPA somehow but still work for the coal company. The latter is responsible for overseeing the reclamation of the land, and making sure all regulations are met.

It is ridiculous what the laws that were made once the current POTUS took office.

Actually most of the coal/energy stuff under the epa was regulation, not laws. Another way he bypassed congress....
 
I do not think anyone can defend what 99% of the candidates (those that lose and those that win) say to get elected or sell some idea but they try.

If they had answers for all our problems, why have they not been passed by Congress. At least Obama can veto them and get it record. Now everyone hides behind the gridlock. This congress is the one of the least productive. They might as well shut down and go home without pay.

As far as doing stuff, O has no problem bypassing congress.

And as far as anything else, he had a "super majority" for years........
 
The GOP has not proposed much legislation that would ever have been enacted. The majority is for show to acting like they are doing something. just much fluff like naming post offices and passing bills on Planned Parenthood.

All president's have used executive orders but Obama has issued fewer than Bush. The republicans have controlled the House 9 out of 12 terms and 6 out of 12 times in the Senate starting with Clinton. There have been 3 times when they were essentially tied. This is why the leading candidates in the republican side are Trump and Cruz.

It's not the #, it's the scope.

Same as someone who runs a stop sign, is just as guilty as someone who commits murder.

So please comment with something that is a worthwhile argument. Not just a deflective talking point.........
