The Person Above You Game

^^^^ Should have bought a TT C4 ;)

Heheh, I still think about that car. I won't rule it out. Some things were a bit rough, but then it's 15 years old. It drove nicely.

The things that worry me about a Callaway are the reliability and the repair costs. Callaway parts can basically only come from one place. They are good about providing them, but they are expensive and it's still a very small company. They weren't always so good about providing parts. Plus, the engines are under a lot of stress and are incredibly costly to rebuild (about as much as the whole car would cost me).

I've also got a thing for ZR-1's. They were also quite powerful (though no Callaway), and had neat things like a 7,200 rpm redline from a large V8. Plus they had distinctive bodywork from Chevy, whereas the Callaway body kit is not a Chevy option.

Really I love Corvettes, and I think 1990 is the year for me. So a ZR-1 or TT would both be great cars. There are a lot more ZR-1's out there to find the one for me. Over 3,000 I think. There were only 53 Callaways in 1990, probably only 30 or so coupes, and maybe only 20 that aren't aerobodies. That's a small pool...

We'll see. The 1996 Grand Sport does it for me too, even though it's blue and the updated body (I love the black beltline and inset fogs of the 1984-90, so 1980's and muscular). :)
