Got a nice suprise at the local WalMart. They are now stocking plain foam pads made by Meguiars. 2 for $1.67. Havent seen them for sale anywhere locally in a long time.

That's great! Wal-Mart has been stocking more and more good automotive care stuff. They now have the Mother's clay bar, Scratch-X, Gold Class wax, and some other quality items. I hope they have the Meguiar's pads at my local Wal-Mart!

Where do you get these elusive cheap pads? The best deal I've found is the local detail shop charging $0.59 a piece. I want cheap foam pads! i throw them away if i drop them or get them dirty at all, I actually go through a ton of these things!

Yea my Wal-Mart ahs those to. However they are just like the Zymol pads only a different color. They are great for liquid type waxes. But try to use them on a paste and you'll have fun getting it out of the can.

It's not worth the effort to try and apply PPG or Souveran with those things you just can't get down into the can to get the wax out because of how the top of the pad is stiffer than the bottom.

I much more prefer the Pinnacle pads they are only like $1 each.

Yeah, where are you guys finding these pads for 40 and 50 cents a piece??? Do this shipping charges make it worth it, or can you find them locally?

I was just quoted $15.73 for 25 pads. That's a $5 shipping, handling charge waived, california sales tax, and .40 per pad.

That amounts to 63 cents a pad, not bad at all . . . keep in mind this is CA sales tax and CA ups charges, which might even out for out of state people.

Interesting, if you call in they give you better pricing than their internet site!

you guys and shipping costs ;)

Anyways, I wanted to ask you about the one grand ones, how are they compared to the ones that actually come in the can? (or are they the same ones)

I've always wanted to buy foam apps locally, but come one they don't even have 100% cotton mitts in Ohio :o

Blitz can probably.

Can you compare the One Grand pads to any other (meguiar's, yosteve's, top of the line's, anyone?) ones before I buy 25 of them?

Thanks!

Geez Puter, I really haven't used all that many foam pads besides One Grand. I've used Eagle One's and hated them, prob used the ones found in Auto Zone and Pep Boys and the OG's are better than them all. Also, I don't think that Blitz comes with an app. pad. To sum it up, I am 100% satisfied with the OG pads, if you don't like them I'll buy the 24 you didn't use from ya (I am serious). ;)
