Alright guys, inspired by some very charitable members, I wanted to try a PIF (Pay It Forward) Thread. This is something that has been very successful on the Camaro forum I am on, in fact, there is a whole subforum on it now.

Concept: You list something you have too much of, someone responds in the thread or PM's you that they could use it, you ship it out (if you can afford it, at your expense. If not, other person pays for shipping). The person who got items shipped to them now should ideally PIF something or maybe later down in the road when they have more products. It's a chain that depends on good honorable forum members to succeed.

So, to start off this PIF, I have a sealant/wax combo and a soap combo. First PIF:

2 oz BFWD sealant and 2 oz Collinite 845 that I'm happy to ship to someone (I will pay shipping) :)

I have another PIF for someone else (shipping is on me again):

5 oz CG Wash N Gloss and
5 oz CG Maxisuds II

Who wants it? :D
 
Great thread idea. I have some products that I'd love to PIF but where can I get sample bottles to put them in? Any suggestions?

If you live near a Walmart, Target, etc. there should be an isle somewhere near the personal care items that has small 2oz, 4oz, 6oz bottles (normally used for travel - may be by the "travel sized" items as well) - some may have sprayers, others it's just a plastic bottle and lid.

I've seen them for 2/$1 I believe at our local Walmart..

I'm still new here, and still awaiting for my first large order to come in (hopefully early next week), but once I start accumulating items, I'd be happy to PIF to other members here. :)

go to your local pharmacy and asked to buy 3 or 4 oz bottles that they use for prescription - I paid about 25c each.

Im currently a new mobile detailing business owner and would definitely appreciate some PIF's and to give PIF's

First off, thanks for listing a bunch of things you can ship out!

Not trying to be a stickler or an ahole or anything like that, but the idea of PIF is not to trade, but rather to give. You can always make a thread if you're want to trade but PIF is supposed to be giving without expecting anything in return. If, however, you feel someone has offered something you could use/need, feel free to claim it, but I would like to keep the thread as a PIF thread and not a samples trading thread as that has already been done.

I hope that you know I'm saying this in the sincerest way possible and not trying to be ahole by any means!! Cheers :buddies

In walmart and target, these are now usually 3 oz (for airline use) and cost $1. I picked up some nice 6 oz but Target does not carry them anyway more.
