The new bus

After the sad demise of my first AU Falcon, here are some pics and details on my new one, AU1 Tickford XR6 falcon sedan, with 48,000 kms on the clock in galaxy blue PPG 2K color which has heaps of metal flakes



Got the car from private owner and paint had faded a bit



Magnum Top Gear super shampoo wash

Clay Magic clay job

Poorboys SSR 2.5 X 1 pass (should have done two and followed with polish or menzerna IP

Omikron Bodyseal Paint Sealant X 1 coat

(this is actually brilliant for a local product)

Klasse SG X 4 coats

Wolfgang DGPS X 2 coats (one to go yet)

No waxing for this car



Has come along pretty well, I have also four star UPP'd the door jambs after four star UPC and hand glaze

(still got some residue to remove from there)

I wish we had the XR8 falcon in the states...when will ford ever learn.

Yeah, ford family cars in the states are crap IMO. 200hp taurus is so slow and boring compared to our AU and BA falcons with 182-350kw of power. That's 260-450 horsepower



I wish however that the 2004 dodge intrepid's were in australia. For a front wheel drive car, the 270hp engine is great for a 3.5 litre and I love the styling of them when lowered and genoa mag wheels.
