WOW! Will the folks from Adam's cry enough here to get rule changes done? I doubt it, but I have seen this happen myself on the corvette forum. They could not compete with those on the CF that where posting details of "other then corvette cars." Even though they are no longer a sponsor on that forum, you still can't post details of other then vette cars.



I personally have had 2 corvette detailed threads removed from Digital Corvette forum. One of the mods that did reply to my inquiries, said he had no idea why my threads would of been removed. PMs to the admin of the site when unanswered. The only thing I could figure is I did not use any Adams products on the detail and guess who is the only supporter of that forum.....Thats right Adams.

Are we still going to continue to hijack this thread or are we going to get it back on topic? By the way, I AM a moderator at Digital Corvettes. What is your user name there so that I can see if your story is true or not. I'll nip this in the bud real quick.

Here is where I sent a pm asking what happened. I do not recall if he was the mod who responded back or not.

Suggesting that Adams is more of an asset to the forum than David because they 'participate with their WALLET' just plain sucks. What a jerk! In fact 10 minutes on youtube makes me wonder if Junkman is really qualified to endorse a product.

agreed. definitely one of the most knowledgeable detailers here on autopia (or anywhere for that matter), and i always look forward to his wealth of info that he shares...
 
Actually if you look at my post count it says 10, but if you do a search of my user name, only 8 posts show up. So 2 have been deleted.

Useless crap/threads like this is why all of Autopia is going downhill. I stayed away from here for a while hoping things would perk up and get back in order. Sadly it is still a soap opera........Pity.

I hear this on a lot of detailing forums. I also saw it when I first found this forum before I ever posted and is why I decided to shy away.
 
I've watched this thread unfold itself and as a new Member coming here and seeing this, I would hope the staff running this site will take my opinion into consideration.



I'm not siding with anyone here, I just believe the Moderators should step in and get this topic back on point and edit some posts here. Nothing productive will come from all the bickering and Gentleman.....we are all grown adults, could we act like it? I came here to learn and I honestly do spend a lot of time reading throughout the threads and to see this is just ridiculous. Most of you Gentleman are Professionals with respectable reputations and companies, can we leave it at that?



I would hate to see such an informative and friendly community bicker over such trivial issues. There's no need for this Gentleman. If I offend anyone with this post then let me be the first to apologize but I think its time now for the Moderators to step in and get the topic back on point.
