Just looking at the screen, before hitting "play" - I'd edit the video, that look is not your best :D

Thanks Thomas, lol... My momma tells me I look my best all of the time.

Well I guess you want to hear the honest truth. .......................................I had the wife and a few of her friends view it and they all liked what you had done. Now that is from a bunch of gray haired ladies .To me it looks like a good introduction to potential clients. Personally I think you are headed in the right direction. :bigups

Wayyyyyyy too long. I would do two video's. One on the home page to showcase your work, keep it short, no more than 2 minutes. Then make another one on the "About Me" page explaining your background, experience, etc. I would keep that short as well, under 3 minutes.

I haven't watched the video yet because I'm on my phone. Just wanted to mention to make sure it doesn't affect load time on a variety of media. Slow loading causes many people to give up and cancel, thus getting the opposite of the desired effect. Just looking at the time I would agree that is way to long for a first page auto play video.

It wouldnt be true Garry Dean fashion if the video was 3 min long... I appreciate the comment though.

I am really looking for opinions on whether or not i am thorough about what i do and does it present well.

After watching it I agree; it is waaaaayyy too long. It becomes like a lecture. For those of us who know you or of you and are familiar with your videos it is par for the course but you need to think in terms of what the average person wants to see. Those who have some knowledge don't need the long explanations and those who don't aren't going to last through it. I would whittle it down to less than a minute. (30 seconds would be better. There is a reason why commercials are this length.) That will make you focus on saying only what is absolutely necessary. Then I would have separate videos for the sub-topics like wash method, Opti-Guard, etc. Also be reducing the length you can rehearse it an make it more polished.

I think it is a great idea but agree you should have more than one video to address specific audiences. For example, you could have a separate the video to various "sell" videos on polishing services, permanent coating. marine vs auto, etc.

I definitely agree with Bunky and Nth Degree. While I understand you would like to be thorough about what it is you do i think you will loose a lot of people's interest less then half way through the video. Terms like "marring" IMO gotta go, 90% of people have no clue what that is. The Opti-guard part is to back and forth. Explain what it is, where you apply it and what you need to maintain it. Are you trying to sell it just to people that do not want to worry about waxing and such or would you rather have everyone coming in asking to have Opti -guard applied? As a forum member and someone who has watched your previous videos i get who you are and what your about, but to the masses I think some refinement is in order.

Best of luck.

I have to agree here. It's a great video all together, but I think for the opening page it's definitely too long. In some areas I think you over explain or ramble on. I for one do the same thing when I'm talking to a client. Your trying to educate your customers which is fantastic but take your own words and do the less is more. I just think you want your video to show case your skills and what you do, but you want it to be short and to the point.

Most people are probably not going to watch the whole thing if it's long. If you keep it short and to the point it gets your message across better and it retains the clients attention.

Just my 2 cents. Your certainly been doing this much longer than me and you've marketed yourself great.

Too long, too "me, me, me". We get your drift and your knowledge and skills are self evident, but this video rambles and doesn't really make a point which might motivate a potential customer to come to you. It's a bit problematic to compare your express services to your in house services, as you seem to imply that one is better than the other, then say they're both great.

Check out one of Dave's videos for comparison.
