The Genuine T-BAR Water Blade

Now I do just enough to clean and act as a lube for the squeegee.

Same here. And this is clearly one of those seeing-is-believeing deals....pun intended :bowl:

I just wanted to note also, that this technique doesn't compromise Aquapeled glass. I just recently cleaned my side windows and it was difficult to work fast enough before all of the cleaner rolled right off them.

I have been battling excessive residue from off-gassing in my 2010 Challenger since it was new. It's worse during the hot months. I finally broke down and purchased one of those IG tools to help me with the rear glass. I’ve been using it to push my MF WW glass towels around with it like you show in your picture. ....it ended up working pretty well on the front windscreen as well (less strain on my back). My main issue is the stubbornness of the film and the persistence of the source. I can see signs of the haze appearing just a couple days after I clean the windows during the hotter months of the year. ….and it’s much harder to remove than other vehicles I have owned.

I was all set to try the D120 until I started reading comments about the grape smell. :( While I can tolerate those types of sweet odors in some exterior products (i.e. Duragloss #901), I’m picky about certain scents in the interior. …..if it were citrusy like 1Z CP, I’d be all over it.

Thanks for posting this up. I have a CWB sitting in one of my detailing cabinets somewhere. Might be worth breaking out and experimenting.

The grape odor does dissipate promptly and will not linger. No worries there. These added smells are a pet peeve of mine in general. I sure wish less products had them.

I did four different windshields this past weekend using:

Small red squeegee + huck towels + D120 = OUTSTANDING !! :)

D120 is great stuff. The smell is (sadly) gone in 10 minutes. Makes me thirsty for grape koolaid.

I am tryi g to convert at least one person to a technique using this kind of product. I believe it is working! :-)

The smell isn't my cup of tea even though it is pleasant. Im just not a fragrance guy in general. To each their own.

....that's one thing I hate about it personally (I purchased some a couple of months back partly due to this thread). Thankfully, it dissipates after a while.
