The general purposedness of the general purpose Target MF towel?

I just got a few of the 16"x16" blue MF towels at target. They say general purpose, safe on paint, leather, glass... But, my understanding is glass is really the hardest surface to clean with a MF towel, due to lint that can be left on the glass. Should I splurge and get the extra green MF's from Target that have glass specifically in the name of the product? E.g., it doesn't just say glass in the notes on the packaging, in big letters, the green towels actually call themselves something like "Glass Microfiber Towels".



One towel for everything in the interior would be simpler for this little kit I'm putting together. But, if it's going to be a noticeably step up in easier cleaning and that much less lint on the window, I could easily just throw a few extra MF's specifically for glass in there.
 
the green glass towels are low nap (IME i do like low nap towels for cleaning glass) and aren't necessarily necessary, if you try using the microfibers you have and if they work out without any negative results. the best thing to do is try it out for yourself and see if it gives you the results you want...
 
Don't waste your time. I use and only use Surgical towels or terry towels for windows. Nothing else does it as fast or as good. If you wash your terry towels b4 you use them it will eliminate lint.

The thing is this, I'm making a kit for members of my family to keep the interior of their cars clean for Christmas. Not to detail the inside of their car, just to keep it clean.



The design considerations are simplicity and effectiveness of cleanliness. Now, it seems that just using the blue general purpose MF towels for the glass as well as everything else would be more simple. But, using the green glass MF towels would be more effective.



But, the kit is pretty simple already. Throwing an extra set of green towels in there isn't going to complicate it much.



And, I've got one cleaner, Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner, for everything but glass. And, Stoner Invisible Glass for the glass. So, they can use the blue towels for the Griot's Interior, and the green towels for the Stoner Invisible Glass. Keeping the towels they use with the cleaner separate would seem to actually add a degree of simplicity to the kit. Because, with the extra towels, they don't have to consider as much the ill-effects of getting one kind of cleaner on the towel and then using that same towel for a different cleaner and getting both cleaners on that surface. So, the extra towels don't necessarily making it more complex at all!



And yes, you're guys answers did help me reason that out in my head.



I'm gonna throw the green towels in there.

And, it's a great tip to wash the towels first to get rid of the lint, I'm gonna go run the green glass MF towels through the washer and dryer. Don't know if I'm gonna wash the blue multi-purpose MF towels or not. I probably won't.
 
i wash my microfiber towels in warm water (with very little liquid detergent as they are really concentrated and much is not needed) add about 3-5 ounces of vinegar on the last rinse cycle and repeat an extra rinse cycle if needed. then put them in the dryer on the lowest heat setting with no fabric softener/dryer sheet...
