So if I am not mistaken, they take all the orders regardless they have in stocks or not. and they refund the payment if one or some of the products in the orders sold out?

don't they tell you automatically when the product's out of stock?
 
If you look in your 'cart' on the website, it'll tell you if something is in stock or out of stock. There were a few things that I was originally going to order that came up as 'out of stock' so I just removed 'em from the cart.
 
First, an email I got from Michael that addresses a few of the questions about stock/shipping costs etc....

However, through an error, you were not charged shipping on your order.
During this sale, our normal shipping rates apply.
Free shipping starts at orders of $500 o rmore.
Your order, being less than that amount, requires an additional shipping charge.
Additionally, an orders requiring multiple boxes will also require additional shipping charges.
Obviously, with this being a close-out sale, we cannot give free shipping at lower amounts as we used to do.

If you would like us to proceed with your order, we can charge your credit card, or send you a PayPal invoice (if you paid via PayPal) to cover the shipping costs.
Should you wish to cancel your order, please let us know. If cancelled, any funds collected will be refunded.

Please respond back to us as quickly as possible as this promo ends tomorrow and all orders will be shipped by Thursday.

Second, remember you're getting a 25% discount because they are closing their doors! I think it would be good to be THANKFUL for the opportunity, not complain about shipping costs of a few dollars.
 
Can anyone please post Michael's e-mail? I would like to get in touch with him as I never got an e-mail from him.

PAC charged less than what I ordered. I want to know what items got dropped and I'm now assuming there's shipping attached. I would have appreciated an e-mail from Michael or anyone from PAC before charging my CC a different amount.

Best of luck to all of you, really! This is a disappointing end to a legacy. I wish things were different.
 
What a bummer!!! After being laid up with a severely bad back for months I come back to find PAC is closing down. I got great service here as well as great products.

After looking at several forums I decided this was the one to join, now we are losing that. I really enjoyed the write ups and looking at other peoples work, especially Todd's fantastic way of explaining things. This site will be sorely missed.

Best wishes and luck in any future endeavors to all involved. I will miss all the great people I have met here.
