Wow...this is certainly an unexpected and saddening surprise...

I remember placing my first order back in '08 with PAC. Since that point, I have chosen you guys over a number of other retailers for various reasons. I am not a big spender, but I appreciate the respect and care each one of the employees has given me.

Oh yeah, PAC still has the best in-house detailing line. Bar none.

I will miss this site and everyone here. (My fiancee, however will be rejoicing, as she always complains about how much time I spend here.)

I really wish someone could shed some light on why this is happening and whether Blackfire will continue. I am guessing if not, someone will buy the formula and we will see it in another incarnation.

i also got the detailing bug after finding PAC in 05-06... i'm really gonna miss you guys and with a heavy heart wish you all Godspeed... i'm lucky enough to be able to stock up on stuff, my last order is in.
 
In for answers on the BFWD and and will the foums continue on?

This is ridiculous, PAC is by far the best around, and is my chief source of products, not to mention TID is easily one of the most knowledgeable detailing forums on the net.

Wow, this sucks. Wish I had the money to buy a ton of stuff right now. Very sad.
 
Oh My! And I just started and this is the best site! Is the forum going away too? Guess I'd better stock up on BFWD, Midnight Sun and Polish now that they are my favorite BY FAR!

I'm sad to see this happen. I've said it before and I'll repeat it again, I liked shopping at PAC because it felt like a neighbor hood store instead of a big box chain store, plus the free shipping point at $49 was much nicer than $95. The chats nights were already entertaining. I placed my first order back in December of 2009. I ordered 12 pads, a 6 pack of 6.5" CCS and a 6 pack of 4" CCS pads, with a few orders in between. Recently I picked up the BF Wheel and Tire Cleaner which I did a review on and I loved it. Stocking up on that right now.

Me too. I ordered twice because I re-thought how long i could go with the BFWD products I have, and just ordered the first time. It wasn't enjoyable ordering this time like in the past knowing the store is closing. Truly a bummer-quality products, excellent service and great forum.
