The Edge PLUS wool pads-doe it worth it??

Hi guys.I am thinking of buying the Edge wool pads from cutting to finishing pad(4 pads in total).Does it worth it....I just like better the way that wool pads act with a rotary polisher than foam pads..

How do you compare them with foam pads??does they give a better finish??i know that they are better for defect removal but i don't know about the finishing process...
 
My favorite is black lambs wool pads from Micro-Surface. They cut better, finish better, are cheaper and last longer than foamed wool pads.

*Sigh*... there goes David, spending my money again. :chuckle:



Gonna go order those right now.



Side note: Some science teacher I know told me that he heard from a reliable source (Oprah, maybe?) that LC is going to make a complete line of foamed wool pads since the PFW has been such a hit. Everything from agressive cutting to finishing.



Edit: Micro-Surface 3/4" nap 6" black wool pads are only nine bucks each. Cheaper than the best price I've found on PFW's... Thanks for this, David, I can't wait to give them a try!

No... I hit the print button, then the delete button. Long story short: I ended up losing a bunch of PM's that I wanted to print, that one included. :o
