The Edge 6 inch Wave Pad vs. the Edge 6" DA pads

Of you guys that have actually used both or any of you other knowledgeable guys out there....Do you LOSE anything by going with the Wave pads? I realize the reduced surface area helps with the ventilation, but does the reduced surface area sacrifice anything in performance?

I'm looking to make the jump over to the Edge pads, and the pkg deal on the Wave pads seems like a better deal than the one for the regular pads.

Anyone have 1st hand experience w/ the Wave pads vs. the regular Edge 2000 pads?

I really enjoy the 8" wave, but i wonder if i might be getting more hologram swirls.

It just seems like the Wave pads give a considerable reduction in surface area...makes me wonder how effective they'd be compared to the original ones.

I've used both the waffle pads do not build up as much product as a flat pads...which reduce hoping on the surface....as for one giving more surface than the next, once the waffle pad hit the surface it flattens out so the surface area is the same IMO

The two sided pads are great and I for one would not go back to the single sided one now that I have had the chance to use them.
