The dumbest detailing thing you ever did

Finding and signing up on this forum! I think it is a great forum but my wallet begs to differ! I was more then content with my NuFinish.

Taking delivery of a brand new '03 Corolla and pointing out there was a large greasy thumbprint under the clear! The dealer took care of it and did a fine job with the repaint, it was perfect. Stupid me decided to machine polish it just a couple of weeks later (DUHHH) and removed the paint from a raised edge. This was with a PC and it was HER car not mine! Stupid stupid stupid!
