The Downside to detailing

I introduced my father in-law to Zaino last year when I detailed his 97 Cherokee over the summer. Since then, he’s kept on top of the Jeep and now is trying to sell it. He has about 150,000 miles on the truck since he’s in sales. The truck, with the help of me, looks great. In fact, it looks too good. He had one guy get pretty obnoxious with him saying that there was no way that the Jeep wasn’t repainted. He said that it obviously in an accident since a black vehicle with that many miles shouldn’t look that good. He pretty much called papa in-law a liar. I guess he got a pretty good chuckle out of the guy.

I wish I was there to se what the other guy was driving…

hehe...

had the same thing with my 95 mustang... It did have fresh paint on the hood and front bumper, but only because they were aftermarket pieces that had just been installed. The rest of the car was all original and looked just as good if not better than the fresh stuff thanks to zaino....

everyone swore up and down that I had the entire car repainted

My 96 Chargold Grand Cherokee has 140k miles. It still has the original paint. I have had people ask me if it has been repainted because of the condition of the paint and body. I always tell them that it still looks good because it has been well maintained. I have used the Pinnacle system than changed to Black Fire. I am planning on detailing it with Vanilla Moose and S100 this weekend....Andrew
