anyone see that commercial where some dude is detailing an 18 Wheeler.....now thats a sweet lookin truck...



kinda dumb commercial (and thread) but imagine being the guy(s) who detailed that sucker. The truck looked real clean and detailed.



like to find out what team did that, and what products they used. sweet location shoot as well.
 
I haven't seen the ad you mention, but I do recall going to a "working truck" show of some sort shortly after moving to California in 1990. We entered one of our ink tankers (yes, ink, as in printing ink - we delivered 3 tankers of black ink to the LA Times every week) and we all chipped in, not really knowing what we were doing at the time.



The guys from Unocal 76 showed up with a pair of the shiniest, brightest, cleanest gasoline tankers you can imagine. If I recall correctly, they actually had them professionally done, and man, did it show. Yeah, we were a bit embarassed :nixweiss
