The autopian illness in its last stages

Here are a couple of pictures of someone "detailing" a Porsche 993 for a concours event. This really takes everything to a new level. And yes the car has been driven. I would never have the patience for this. But god does it look good.

wow. How do you do it? I think the patience would kill me. That and not being able to drive the car.

So how long does it take you to prepare? Do you have a lift?

that is some serious detailing, i would never have the patience for work like that but it is truly eye-opening to see the vast amount of pride and hard work that goes into preparing for these events. much respect to you all.

Car show guys are a breed apart. I've done some show prep, but it was on trailer queens that really didn't need extensive cleaning. It is a market I'd like to tap, but I'd have to hire help for my regular weekly business to work in 2-3 day details.

Pat-your car looks great!

No lift when I started. Basically it was jack stands and a big piece of carpet to lie on. Now that I have the car trailer with the open middle it is much easier to work on when the car sits on the trailer. I can literally sit underneath the car and go crazy.

Thanks Scott much appreciated.
