Oh, and a little Plexus...

Let me know what you detailing gurus think!

The car looks nice, I like the rim/tire detail, they came out looking sharp.

See that haze in your rear tail lights? I had the same, used some plastic polish and it got rid of it and made the plastic look crystal clear.

I really like the night shot. Would you / could you to reveal the specifics of the film, camera settings used?

Haze? Man, I was pretty happy with the results after using Plexus. I didn't see any haze - perhaps it's the bright sun that makes it appear hazy. What plastic polish did you use? Novus?

That's one phat Max!

Detail looks great! How do you like the Paste Glaze?

Thanks man. :) I love the paste glaze. Extremely easy to apply - I'd say even easier than Klasse AIO! And layering it on top of the AIO is what really made the silver pop. I almost went with Souveran instead, but heard Paste Glaze is supposed to be a better choice for lighter colored cars because of the bright shine.

Thanks! That was just McGuiars cleaner/conditioner all in one. I'm pretty happy with it and like the smell. However, the seats tend to look dry again after around 2 weeks. I'm trying out McGuiars premium conditioner next. Any suggestions for a cleaner? Looks like the Lexol twins are popular around here...

Holy Smokes, I love the BMW 5 series with those angel eyes! Oh wait, its a Max. Woah, I just realized you were from KC. I know for certain I have seen your car driving around with the angel eyes on. Anyway, the detail looks good. Not a huge fan of angel eyes on non Bimmers though, sorry bro.

Now what did you do to get the angel eyes?

Well, in short, a lot of work: http://www.innerbean.com/housecor/angel_eyes.html

Got 'em from Umnitza.com.

Greg - I appreciate the honesty. Yours is actually the first negative feedback I've gotten since the install. So tell me, is it the look you don't like? Do they not fit the car? Look cheap? Do you think I'm trying to be a BMW poser? :nixweiss Just curious. :)

Well, not much to reveal really - I used the AUTO setting on my Canon S30, a tripod, and turned off the flash of course. Generally, this has produced pretty decent results for me.

I think he feels threatend because he thinks Angel Eyes are a BMW exclusive.

housecor, your car is hot. Don't worry about those haters bro. :xyxthumbs

I generally don't like the angel eyes on non-BMWs either, its sort of like Altezza tails I think. They do however look good on the Maxima and seem to fit. They look good on the IS300 too, but the problem is people try and push it and it ruins the look for everyone.

Great detail!

Well, they are. Generally I agree that putting modifications on cars to make them look like other cars turns out pretty ricey, sort of like putting Mercedes emblems on a Honda. But in this case I think they look good.
