That one product.....

There are a couple products that I call multi-purpose.

Optimum Power Clean - but then they improved it

Poorboy's Pro Polish - It is a cleaning polish for virtually any surface when you just want to use one (glass, paint, plastic, real and fake chrome). I am just not sure every non-abrasive paint cleaner would be equivalent but it does not seem to have much oil in it compared to some. Also, Steve came out with Pro Polish 2 but have only used it once.

Guys that said Poorboys Spray and Wipe...have you tried Opti-Clean and do you have a comparison? I've got Opti-Clean and it turns out to be $10/gallon when you buy the gallon of concentrate...then again when it comes down to it, a product that is significantly better than another is worth the money.

I would also look into the Ultima Waterless Wash Concentrate. I find it cleans a little better than Opti Clean and can be used as both a waterless wash and detail spray. I love the stuff and use it for wipe downs on my garage queens all the time. I use it frequently when putting my car covers on and off.

I have both, and I think Spray & Wipe is a little easier to use. Opti-Clean seems to require a little more buffing or it will streak.

I have both but still prefer the Poorboys. Unlike the Opti it's not trying to clean, shine, protect, and be multi faceted. It does one thing and does it well.......cleans. As mentioned above there is no streaking or smearing either.

Makes alot of sense...for whatever reason it bothers me having products do more than their primary task - I hit the car with a spray wax after a rinseless or waterless wash anyhow and it doesn't seem right to have multiple gloss enhancing products sort of stacked upon each other...

Thanks! I'll get some.

Collinite 845. FOr the price probably the best wax on the market. It last a long itme, beads really well, and has a great shine. I would change the cap though.

A few of my favorites:

- Optimum No Rinse, diluted 8-10 oz/gallon for detail spray & clay lube

- FK 425, detail spray that leaves a "lube" feeling behind. Works great on piano black trim as well as paint. Very similar to Adams Detail Spray without the fragrance and $10/gallon less.

- Autoglym Wheel Cleaner, (non acid version) hands down the best wheel cleaner - no contest.

- Meg NXT Window Cleaner, though for the money Meguires D120 is a much better value

- Optimum Opti Tire Gel, luster finish and reminds me of the old school Black Again product. Seems to hold up well even after the rain.
