That old saying is true...

Great car and cleanup. The 335 Coupe is one of my favorite cars BMW has made in the last 10 years and your mods are perfect.

It's always nice seeing the pros post personal rides on here. Makes me have hope for my little business in the future with a little larger client base. I've had a few too many days off these last few months and my car gets washed regularly! I'll have to post pics of the dub soon...

Todd send me some work!

Picus- Good job and a good write-up ("souls of young children" :chuckle: ). Nice to see you spending some time on your own car.

I remember your saying (in another thread) how you'd been neglecting it for four months...actually it didn't look all *that* bad IMO for that length of time! Could be the color, but still...and I *do* love that color :D

Glad the wheels came out OK..that might be one aspect of it that you shouldn't let go for so long ;) Somebody will probably suggest ceramic pads, but still...

 @ those wheels!

As a fellow detailer, my recommendation to you is to get some ceramic brake pads and some easy to clean 5 spoke wheels. ;)

No engine pics? You gonna get software for that badboy? Custom tunes and twin turbos get along quite nicely. GREAT looking car!

Software? Check. Exhaust? Check. I've done everything I can aside from downpipes so far. Not sure if I will do that. Last dyno was 361hp/379tw to the wheels; that was before the exhaust. LSD comes in next week.

Nice car and excellent work.

OT question, I was just wonder if you had any problems with no front plates with the authorities? I want to take mine off too.

I actually have plates on. I have a mount I made so I can pop them off in ~30 seconds, so I did it for the pics.

great job, boy does she clean up nice

Why did u use OS instead of cs over zaino?

Honestly? It's what I had in my trunk at the time. :) I plan on using prime to remove some of my water spots, then using Concorso or something, so I just wanted some quick protection.

The last time I applied LSP (before this) was z5pro in like... March-ish. Believe it or not it was still beading reasonably well when I washed it; not great, but it was still there. I think that helped hide some of the filth, well for awhile anyway. Yes, the wheels will never go that long again; I learned my lesson. No ceramic pads for me; I track the car so... :(

Hah! You know, when I bought those I thought.. "aluminum lip, 20 tight spokes... I'm an idiot".. I was right. :)

Nice! What/who's software are you using? The e92's are so effin' sexy. I still don't like the new sedans that much though. Cars are getting too big.

Definitely too big. Actually, the e92 is way too big, imo. Just think, it's larger than an e30 5 series.. sad :( I've done all I can to make it nimble, but it doesn't hold a candel handling-wise to say, an e36 M3 or 993 or something.

I've told a few customers that when they go to buy their next car, I am picking out the rims. :LOLOL

damn, what a nice turn around. my dad picks up his whenever the ship gets in from germany lol.. I'm just curious what chip you're running? My dad was thinking of getting the Vishnu set up. Any recommendations?

What do your clients say, lol?

Amazing what a passionate wash will do :).

Well usually they say something like "I guess you never buy a mechanics car" or "the cobblers kids are always barefoot", but in the few weeks before I washed it most just said "dude, you need to wash your car", haha.
