I've been lurking on the forum for awhile reading up and finally did a full detail on thursday with all the goods on my 93'.

Exterior

-Wash

-Mother's Clay

-Autoglym's SRP

- " EGP

-Mother's Instant Detailer

-EGP again

-Wheels: washed, Meguiar's Hot Rims, and polished

-Tires: Tire wet gel

Interior

-Vacuumed

-Amorall'd everything

The SRP and EGP were both applied by hand and brightened the paint like no other :bow I'm very glad I clayed this time and realize the importance of prepping the surface before polishing and waxing/sealing. Anyway, check out the pics....sorry no befores. Made my thanksgiving even better :xyxthumbs

why the QD between EGP layers?

I'd probably avoid that in case any remaining QD got trapped between the coats.

Well, I put on the first coat thursday afternoon and then waited till the next day to put on the second coat. I just applied the QD inbetween to clean off the surface since my car sits outside (with a lot of trees around). Should I have not done that?

Nice job on your 3rd Gen. :D

Thanks Prinz :xyxthumbs

I would have just washed it in the normal fashion before the second coat.

Nice job nonetheless! One more shiny Maxima on the road!
