Thanks to all the Autopian members

I had a big long speech prepared about my background and how long I`ve been doing this and how far I`ve come, but I decided to make this short and sweet.

Short version: I joined to help make my garage queen look the best that I can but has slowly turned into an obsession. Almost every day I learn something new from your experiences. Most recently, I decided to start this thread because i was washing my GMC Canyon that I`ve had for about 2 years and I`ve never polished it, I`ve also never properly protected it. By that I mean I`ve only spray waxed it. And because of your expert advice I`ve been able to maintain a scratch free surface with proper wash techniques. So again thank you for all your advice and tips and here`s a couple pictures from my phone.

BTW the truck is not my garage Queen, that`s my 2014 Corvette Stingray.

WashRinseRepeat- Gee, you sure *are* learning, that looks great. Not many people can keep a regular-use vehicle so marring-free no matter how they go about it! Now don`t go all Autopian and start overkilling that Canyon too...it`s nice to have a vehicle you don`t stress over ;)

Thanks, I haven`t gone of the deep end with the Canyon.....yet. I do like to keep it clean but don`t obsess about it. Lately, I`ve been flirting with the idea of coating it.
