Looks good.:xyxthumbs

What were you using before and what steps did you take before the Clearkote product, and which Clearkote product(s) are you using.

Keep up the good work.:D

I was using Meguiars off the shelf before I knew about Autopia. Not very good results. It was not about the product It has more to do with technique.

I learned about Zaino in Corvette forums so I clayed the car and apply Zaino (Z5,Z2,Z6) huge improvement but not as good as now. (no prep work). The color was a little orange and the shine was flat).

I tried topping with P21S. It helped but I knew I could improve it.

I start learning about PC, swirl removal, glaze, etc so I gave it a try.

Car wash with Meguiars shampoo (the one you get by the gallon in target), Meguiars #9 (Swirl remover), Menzerna FP, VMW, CW,QS. It was looking good but there were some swirl left. I started using MF from Pakshak because I did not wanted more swirl and scratches from cotton towels.

I bought Megs DACP (Dual Action cleaner) and 3M PIII Machine Glaze.

I re-clay the car.

Remove swirls with DACP, yellow pad.

Step down a notch with 3M PIII MG and yellow pad.

Menzerna FP white pad.

VMW.

P21S wax

QS.

It is more reflective that ever, darker red, wet look (really wet look) and I am happy with it.

 Glad you are happy with the way your car looks, but you should be patting yourself on the back for doing all the work! That picture of your hood is simply amazing! :bow
