This was sent to me thanks to Ron from the corvette forum. A couple of factory sand marks and the dirtier it gets duster marks. Corrected with Griot’s fast correcting cream on the fast cut foam pad. I have found the newer corvettes paint is much easier to correct than the older ones? Refined using perfecting cream on the perfecting pad and followed with Modesta primer on a finishing pad. Coated with Modesta BC04 and cured with IR lamp. Wheels coated with Polish Angel wheel coating and glass done with Griot’s glass treatment. Thanks for looking!

OK, I will ask the "unintelligent" questions:
1) Does the infrared (IR) light cure and/or dry the Modesta BC04 coating?
2) Is this a necessary procedure recommended by this coating manufacturer OR is it some process that you have developed on your own?
3) Would this IR benefit and be applicable to all coatings?
4) Who is the IR light fixture made by and what are some of its feature or specifications?
 
The ir lamp cures the coating, in the case of Modesta it is required to achieve the initial hardness to release the vehicle into the elements. In most cases the ir lamp will speed up the curing process so you lessen the risk of spotting in case the vehicle is rained on. Or if multiple layers of coating are being done.the lamp is from infra tech and is the short wave model. The short wave is required to cure Modesta. Hope that helps?
 
Wow...you really know how to max out the gloss. Doubt you`ll get any more gloss out that car now!
