Hi All,

I've been out of the detailing thing for a while and came back to ask some questions. I didn't have a set of wheels I was excited about polishing but picked up a 2012 Sonata about 3 weeks ago. I came in, asked some questions and got answers which were very helpful. This is the result of my efforts. I would have taken it outside for the pics but of course it was spitting rain.

Here's what I did,

Washed with Adams shampoo

clay with CG blue clay and uber lube

polish with Menzerna 4500 and a black pad

Applied Black light sealant with black pad and let it cure

Wiped down with CG V7

topped with CG 50/50

It is a new car but damn the finish looks great. I Hope you can tell by the pics how good it looks.

Thanks for all the tips and advice. I'm back

The addiction hasn't quite taken hold entirely... you missed an opportunity for beading pics. :becky:

Nice job, great looking car. Now let's get busy on that Road King.

The King got the same treatment but man what a PITA! So much stuff to work around and I had to do it all by hand which took a long time. Going to grease up the finish this weekend though installing a set of cams and headers:clap2:

Remember the H-D mantra, "that'll void your warranty" and "they all do that".
