Thank you broker99

Yea I say we just end it.

I say my detail job was awesome, my personnal best and better than alot of people around my area.

Detailking and other people don't think so.

It's over, let's stop milking this, I sure as heck and not having fun with this anymore. I'm done, I quit, white flag, I need a gasp of air ............ just stop.

Ok.....I am just curious....you said KLASSE was a breeze to apply and wipe off...

What did you use to apply it with? Foam? terry cloth? Wet, damp, dry?

How long did you let it set before buffing? In the sun, shade, garage? What was the outside temperature?

.....And what did you buff it off with? Dry towel? Damp towel? cotton, MF? Did you use a QD?

Thanks for the info.........

The Klasse "all in one" was really really easy to wipe off.

I used a Porter Cable with a grey foam pad.

I kept the grey pad damp but not wet by means of a water spray bottle.

I applied a small amount of all in one in a very very small circle in the middle of the pad, the circle was the size of a quater and a half. I also tried a solid nickel size "drop" in the middle of the pad. The solid "drop" seems to work better for me.

I worked it into the paint, not to the point where you can see it fade away but I worked it in.

After the entire hood, or the entire door, or the rear quater panel (to give you an idea of how much of the car I did at one given time) I wiped it off with a dry 100% cotton terry cloth. It just came right off.

I did this to the car twice.

Hey Joed, I'm glad to hear that you have had great results with Klasse so far. I'm a big fan of this product as well. A 24 hour wait between coats is probably best, but I have certainly applied 2 or 3 coats of the Sealant Glaze in one day. The results were outstanding! Wish I could see the result of all your hard work.

I don't want to lecture anyone who's new to the forum, but for the most part this forum operates with a tremendous amount of decor and respect for one another. Lets all try to endeavor to keep it this way. Keep up all the hard work! Laters.

I have also applied more than one coat of SG in a day. The results were spectactular. DK- If you want to see Klasse Bead try using meguiars #34 on it after washing. It will bead like almost nothing you've seen. My truck had 5 coats of SG on it and I used #34 daily on it and it beaded incredibly. <span class='bbc_underline'>NOT sheeted. Use thin coats of SG on a cool surface and let it dry till it doesn't smear.(much like zaino). I prefer the MF applicators slightly damp. They seem to put down a very uniform thin coat of SG. Then buff it off with a cotton towel. I have not had any problems with SG if I used cotton towels and occasionally QD for the stubborn areas. :up

Koy, don't you think that's the high lubricity properties of the FI causing the beading? My experience with Klasse (AIO 2x SG 2x) has been that water will bead on the hood and practically sprint off the sides of the car, but on the next car wash the water started to sheet and the beading was barely noticeable. The washes were weekly and I didn't QD once in between. I must say however, that my car looks pretty nice.

I don't understand why we are so concerned as to whether water "beads" or "sheets" Either way the surface is still protected and looks great. Personally I the car easier to dry when the water sheets off. Every other applied protectant discussed here is bolstered by a QD after washing. Blitz has OGSO, EF Clear Pearl, to name a few. Ziano has z-6 to help bolster its effect. Some have carnuba and some have "polymers" to achieve this. # 34 has niether silicone or carnuba in it but make the surface bead incredibly. Try it out. I think you'll be impressed. ;)

To tell yout the truth, I don't care if the water beads or sheets. As long as my car paint is protected really well and the water comes off the car by itself really quickly I could care less.

Thanks for the QD suggestion, I am going to do that, my car would look better by the next weekend since I don't use my car throught the week.

It's good to know I am not the only one going by the recommended directions.

So I myself am getting ready to apply the Klasse AIO and SG today if I wait 24 hours for the SG to cure what do I do before I add another coat of SG? It is a daily driver car. Do I have to wash it again or will quick detailing be enough? Or will both of these leave a residue that will essentially be sandwiched between coats of SG?

You REALLY REALLY don't need/want to wait 24 hours. If your really worried about it not being dry just give it an hour between layers.

If you still want to waste 23 hours then you can do what I tried. I used only 1 ounce of car soap for every two gallons of car wash since my car deson't get that dirty in one day, wash it, let it dry and re-apply another coat.

If it is not bad and just dust or something that minor you could probaly get away with a fast quick detailer spray but don't take the easy way out, if you need to wash the then do so, it'll save you a big headache.

If you have anymore questions you can reach me on aol IM @ davulis

Thanks

Your welcome. Glad to hear that you enjoyed it.

Merry Christmas, thanks for all the help, great deals, and allowing me to hang out at PAC.

If you see any of that Midwest BBQ I think that I will be in need of some product all of a sudden.:clap:
