texas tk5 supra & viper national meet

Ahh... the Texas Nationals. Road Course day, Dyno day, and track day. Every year the meet takes place, sadly I have never been. I'd love to go take place in it with my Supra brothers.

the first day was the texas world speedway outside of houston, the dyno day show and shine on day two was at horsepower enginering in houston the drag strip was san antonio raceway. this was my first trip to texas , and i loved it coming back in july and may not leave if the traffick in houston wasnt so bad it would be the perfect place to live

AAAH HPE!! If you see CHUCK tell him Jay said Hi!!!!. Yeah my little brother was telling me about a vette viper shoot out they had here in SA. :( Man & i missed it.

if i remember correctly its a t101 not sure on the wheel size, or the a.r. but it has a 5inch inlet the car makes 1000+hp

it was one of the three most impresive cars their the other two where the stock looking white one with bad mother ****** written on the housing it made 1189 hp on friday and with full interior ran a 8.6 in the 1/4 on saturday and its streetable enough that it was driven around town during the weekend it also has had a 1520hp dyno pull a few weeks ago

the other car is the white one with the carbon fiber trunk it built by aap made 1070 hp and had a best run of 8.2 at 173 mph

if you look through the pics there is one of a white board with peoples names and numbers written on them well that is the hp from their dyno run that day and there all single turbo 3.0liter motors except the one that says hennesy...that was a dual turbo viper

and the girl with the green top on next to the gold supra is model/playboy playmate jessica barton aka supragirl (her b/f wrecked her supra about 3 months ago)

Supras are sic, sic cars...........! WHY OH WHY did Toy stop making them!??! WHY!??!?!

Signed,

Supra-less in MN (but hopefully not forever)

Texas World Speedway is a fun track, they are always having events there, it is right outside of College Station,TX so it is actually about 90 miles form Houston.

At the time, Price was too high and impractical for many therefore not much of a demand. Also at the time, people would ask themselves, why buy a sports car for $50K+ when you can buy a mustang for $16k :nixweiss

Damn, i wish i was there. I wanted to see Dusty and the AAP's Supra.
